Moving on to new adventures

Today was the day I have been dreading for months...moving day!
My family is headed from wichita to dallas and I have such mixed emotions about it.

Part of me is excited for the new house and all the memories we will fill it with, but then again I am so sad to leave my home of the past 3 years :/

My cat, jojo is way too used to having the house boxed up--it's his 4th move!

But anyways I really am excited to see what God has in store for my family, even if I wish they would only be a short drive away :(

Homemade is always better

My latest craft endeavour is making macaroni snowflakes :)
Here's how mine turned out--

 You will need some kind of pasta--I chose wagon wheel pasta for this project

 TA-DAH! Aren't they cute?

Once you lay out your desired pattern for the snowflake or ornament you simply glue them together then spraypaint whatever color and sprinkle with glitter. What a fun project to do as homemade christmas presents or just to have fun with the kids!

So I have decided my thanksgiving and christmas break will be spent catching up on my must read books list and crafting!!

Alright I figured it would be best to get it out in the open as soon as possible. I absolutely love cats. All sizes, ages and colors. So meet my best friend of 12 years who is always there when I need him.
Yes I know it may sound weird or whatever, but I love cats and always will :)

Hello blogging universe! I feel a bit behind with technology since I've never had a blog. But I figured what better way to vent, express myself, and display my passions.
Alittle bit about me to start. I am a freshman in college, majoring in professional communication with an emphasis in marketing. I have dreams of becoming an event or wedding planner :) Although I am keeping my options open, maybe even a path in journalism!
I love to play golf, read, drink coffee, eat good food, surround myself with good people. Call me a nerd but I have always loved school and doing homework.
